What cold-pressed means, where oils fit in a routine and how to use them without overcomplicating care.

A simple guide to cold-pressed oils

Cold pressing is a mechanical extraction method that avoids the high heat used in many conventional oil processes. The goal is to keep the oil close to its naturally nourishing character.

Oils seal in comfort

Apply a small amount to slightly damp skin or layer it after a water-based moisturiser. This helps reduce the dry, tight feeling that can follow bathing or cleansing.

One oil can have several roles

Almond oil can be used for body care, hair lengths and gentle massage. Extra-virgin coconut oil is a practical multipurpose choice for body and hair routines. Start with a few drops and add only if needed.

Freshness matters

Keep oils tightly closed, away from direct sunlight and unnecessary heat. Use clean, dry hands and follow the storage guidance on the pack.

Natural ingredients can still be unsuitable for an individual. Patch test first, especially when using an oil on sensitive skin or with children.
